Eastman Minor Hockey invites all interested players born in 2011 and 2012 to tryout for the U15 Female Selects.  Program and tryout information is included below along with contact info if there are additional questions.

About the U15 Program:

The U15 Female program provides players in the region that aspire to play hockey at a competitive level with a challenging and rewarding experience.  Players in the program will have the opportunity to develop and enhance their skillset in a high performance environment while competing against the top teams and players in the province.

The program is based out of Ste. Agathe with practices held twice a week (Monday and Wednesday) and is complemented by an in-season strength and conditioning program.  The team plays in the U15 Manitoba Female Hockey League (MFHL) which is comprised of all of the regional teams in the province.  While mirroring the layout of the MFHL U18 AAA league, it enables the team to participate in its own playoffs while also opening up additional scouting opportunities with Hockey Manitoba’s Program of Excellence.  The season consists of a 28-game regular season schedule, plus playoffs.  The team also participates in Hockey Manitoba Showcase events and have the opportunity to play in out-of-province tournaments.

Tryout Info:

Tryouts are scheduled to start September 2^nd and run throughout the week and will be split into two (2) phases.  All tryouts are expected to be hosted out of the Landmark Arena, 101 Robert Koop Rd.

Phase 1:

• Tuesday                September 2nd                               7:30-8:30, 8:45-9:45
• Wednesday         September 3rd                               7:30-8:30, 8:45-9:45
• Thursday              September 4th                               7:30-8:30, 8:45-9:45
• Player releases following Thursday session

Phase 2:

• Saturday              September 6th                                 9:30-10:30, 10:45-11:45 and 6:00-7:30            
• Sunday                 September 7th                                10:15-11:45
• Final roster selected following Sunday session

Total Cost is $150 if registered by July 31st - late registrations subject to $100 fee.

No registrations will be accepted after August 29th.
