We are always looking for enthusastic volunteers to help coach our teams. Under the guidance of Ile des Chenes Minor Hockey, our Coaches work with Assistant Coach(es), Managers, Safety and Parent Reps as well as the IDCMHA Development Coordinator to provide learning and development to all players while maintaining the objective of a lifelong love for the game. Coaches will be selected on a volunteer basis at the Parent Information Night(s) hosted in September.

CERTIFICATION

• Hockey Manitoba offers certification clinics
• Individuals must complete the online modules delivered through Hockey University, as well as attend a virtual clinic to achieve “Trained” status 
• All coaches must achieve “Trained” status in order to remain eligible for the remainder of the season
• Courses are specific to the level you are coaching
